A group of professional leaders stand strong

Workplace Giving

Help create brighter futures for children of injured or fallen workers—right from your workplace. Through payroll deductions, matching gifts, referral campaigns, corporate grants, and fundraisers, you can support Kids’ Chance of America (KCOA) and expand scholarship opportunities nationwide

Payroll Deductions & Workplace Campaigns

Many employers allow automatic donations through payroll. To participate:

   1.     Notify your employer that you’d like to support KCOA.
   2.    Follow your company’s payroll giving process.

Some workplaces also host seasonal or annual giving campaigns that include nonprofits like KCOA. Recurring monthly gifts provide sustained national support and increase scholarship opportunities.

Supporting Kids’ Chance of America through our 20th Anniversary “Operation Give Back” initiative was a natural extension of our core values — service, stewardship, and community impact. As a company, we believe success is measured not only by business growth, but by how we invest in people. Kids’ Chance’s mission to turn hardship into opportunity deeply resonated with our team, and we are proud to stand behind an organization that creates tangible pathways to education for deserving students.”

Matching Gifts

Many employers match employee donations—sometimes doubling or tripling them.

How it works:

  1. Donate to KCOA (directly or via payroll).
  2. Submit a matching gift request through your employer (check with HR/benefits for instructions).
  3. Your employer verifies the gift, if required.
  4. The company sends a matching donation—amplifying your impact at no extra cost.

Client Referral Campaigns

These structured campaigns encourage clients to refer business to your company in exchange for a charitable gift to KCOA.

How it works:

  1. Your company sets a campaign timeframe and donation amount per referral.
  2. You promote the campaign to clients and encourage referrals during the designated period.
  3. KCOA provides tools (shareable links, email/social templates).
  4. Your company tracks referrals (with KCOA support if desired).
  5. Your company donates based on referrals received.
  6. KCOA acknowledges and recognizes your support.

This model creates a meaningful win-win: clients are incentivized to refer, KCOA builds new mission-aligned relationships, and more families gain access to educational support.

“We’re proud of the impact our referral campaign has made, and we hope it inspires others across the industry — carriers, employers, TPAs, providers, and partners alike — to consider how they, too, can turn everyday business activity into meaningful support for families affected by workplace injury.”

Other Referral Opportunities

Supporters can also:

  • Encourage clients or partners to donate
  • Refer eligible students for scholarships
  • Introduce new donors or industry partners
  • Connect volunteers to state organizations

Referral programs are effective because many eligible students learn about scholarships through trusted connections.
