This Pioneering Safety Science Company Saw an Opportunity to Extend Their Commitment to Industrial Athletes™

Kids’ Chance of America (KCOA) relies on support from major corporate partnerships to advance our mission. In addition to their generous donation, partners weave Kids’ Chance into the corporate culture of their own organizations, providing critical awareness and visibility for the entire Kids’ Chance community.

We are pleased to welcome StrongArm Technologies as our newest corporate partner.

“We are so fortunate to have engaged such an exciting company whose founding mission couldn’t be more aligned with our own,” said Ken Martino, President of Kids’ Chance of America. “Their commitment - and the commitment of all our partners - helps propel us toward the future we envision in which no student is denied an education due to financial constraints caused by a parental workplace injury or fatality.”

StrongArm has long admired Kids’ Chance and their commitment to educating the children of injured workers. Their CEO and Founder, Sean Petterson, started his company to help manufacturing workers by addressing on-site issues and mitigating the risk of musculoskeletal injury.

Understanding that the key to risk management lies within the data, not the hardware itself, he developed the FUSE Risk Management Platform, an IOT-enabled system in which a wearable collects data about multiple ergonomic and environmental risk factors. The Platform uses machine learning to analyze that data and assess the risk of musculoskeletal injuries. To date, StrongArm’s algorithm is fueled by some 25 million hours of proprietary safety data - and counting.

“As a company at the forefront of safety and with the express mission to support the world’s Industrial Athletes™, we can’t imagine a better partner than Kids’ Chance,” said Petterson. “So many families have been affected by workplace injuries, and we want to ensure that the next generation has every opportunity to achieve a productive future.”

In addition to their financial support and commitment to raise awareness for our mission, Petterson will also serve on the national advisory board.Kids’ Chance of America remains extremely grateful to all of our partners and their leadership teams for helping us deliver on our goal of #MoreMoneyforMoreKids.
