Alignment Around Injured Worker Advocacy Creates Natural Fit

Kids’ Chance of America relies on support from major corporate partnerships to advance our mission. We support Kids’ Chance state organizations across the country that provide scholarships to children of workers who have been seriously or fatally injured on the job. Having a sustainable foundation enables us to plan our growth and realize the success of the entire Kids’ Chance community.

In addition to their generous financial support, our partners weave Kids’ Chance into the corporate culture of their own organizations, providing critical awareness and visibility for our mission.

We are pleased to welcome Liberty Mutual’s Workers Compensation Claims organization as our newest corporate partner.

“We are so grateful for the commitment of our dedicated partners,” said Vicki Burkhart, Executive Director of Kids’ Chance of America. “Their support helps us advance our mission with the confidence that we have not only the financial resources to do so, but allies in the industry who understand why our work matters.”

Liberty Mutual’s Workers Compensation Claims organization earned its spot as a leading workers’ compensation provider, in part, by advocating for injured workers in their care and recovery. Supporting Kids’ Chance is an example of their injured worker advocacy in action.

"We’re proud to partner with Kids’ Chance in support of their mission to preserve educational opportunities for students, as their mission is very much aligned with our injured worker advocacy approach,” said Senior Vice President of Workers Compensation Claims, Wesley Hyatt. “We understand the impact catastrophic workplace injuries have on families and we are proud to give these talented students additional support to grow and thrive.”

Kids’ Chance of America remains extremely grateful to all of our partners and their leadership teams for helping us deliver on our goal of #MoreMoneyforMoreKids.
