One Call Care Management Renews 4 year, $400,000 Commitment to Kids’ Chance of America

Kids’ Chance of America (KCOA) thrives on support from major corporate partnerships.  These partnerships provide the resources needed to meet our pledge to reach more kids with more money.  One Call Care Management (One Call), the nation’s leading provider of specialized solutions to the workers’ compensation industry, is one such partner who has recently extended their partnership commitment for an additional four years.

Chief Operating Officer Chris Watson announced One Call’s renewal of their $400,000 commitment to KCOA at the 2017 Kids’ Chance of America Annual Meeting held in Alexandria, Virginia this past May. The renewal period will begin January 2018 and extend to December 31, 2020. Along with One Call’s professional commitment to KCOA, Chris’s personal dedication to the Kids’ Chance cause is evidenced by his service as a member of the KCOA Advisory Board, a group of highly experienced corporate leaders who provide our organization with the passion and expertise to move our mission forward. While One Call and Chris’s support over the years have tremendously advanced KCOA’s ability to provide scholarships for students impacted by work-related injuries and fatalities, the partnership with KCOA has further enhanced One Call’s position as a service leader in the workers’ compensation industry and positively impacted One Call’s workplace. According to Chris, employee satisfaction has risen over the past few years due, in part, to the work they do for Kids’ Chance.

“What’s amazing to see is how the conversation changes when Kids’ Chance is injected,” Chris said. “The conversation stops being about what we do, and becomes about why we do it, which is what is so important. The focus continues to be on the kids.”

Paradigm Outcomes Exceeds $700,000 Lifetime Partnership

Kids’ Chance of America is pleased to announce that Paradigm Outcomes has exceeded expectations with a larger than expected semi-annual gift of more than $70,000, bringing their total contribution in excess of $700,000 since the partnership commenced in 2011.  Paradigm’s leadership has provided the impetus to grow Kids’ Chance of America to a nationally recognized organization supporting over 40 state organizations.

“The Kids’ Chance mission mirrors the core of who we are as a company,” said Jim Hudak, Paradigm Chairman and CEO. “It’s part of our DNA for employees to volunteer at the national level and in state organizations. They are involved on state boards and committees, raise money through company events and proudly spread the Kids’ Chance message whenever they can. And together, we’ll help Kids’ Chance reach into all 50 states.”

Kids’ Chance is extremely grateful to all of our partners and their leadership teams for helping us deliver on our promise of More Money to More Kids.
