Kids’ Chance of America (KCOA) is proud to announce that our next president will be Dana Genheimer, Senior Vice President at Berkley Alternative Markets Tech (BAMT) (a Berkley Company). BAMT was founded in 2019 to help Berkley's workers’ compensation companies transform into tech-focused industry disruptors. Kids’ Chance of America supports 50 state organizations, all of which provide scholarships to children of workers who have been seriously or fatally injured on the job.

Dana has served on the national board for more than six years providing impactful marketing counsel and leadership. She is the Immediate-Past President of Kids’ Chance of North Carolina (KCNC) for which she has served on the board for more than 11 years, including serving as the vice president and marketing chair.

In her role at BAMT, Dana is focused on strategic operations and technology solutions for the company. Prior to that, Dana was focused on brand development and communication strategies as the Vice President of Marketing for Key Risk (a Berkley Company).

Dana was not only integral in forming KCOA’s strategic plan, but led its development. “I am very excited to step into this role at a time when our strategic plan is very forward-looking,” she said. “The next three years will be enormously ambitious, and our organization is ready to take a giant step forward.”

“Kids’ Chance of America changes lives. Our new strategic plan outlines even more opportunities to serve the children of injured workers, ” said Vicki Burkhart, Executive Director of Kids’ Chance of America. “Under Dana’s leadership, the national organization will expand how it meets its mission. Her years of experience as a board member, committee chair, and president of a state organization paired with her strategic marketing and technology savvy will serve her and Kids’ Chance well at this exciting juncture.”
