Jim Hudak, Executive Chairman of Paradigm Outcomes, to Receive the Robert M. Clyatt Distinguished Service Award

Jim Hudak, executive chairman of Paradigm Outcomes, has been named the recipient of the Robert M. Clyatt Distinguished Service Award. Hudak will receive the award at the 2018 Kids’ Chance Annual Meeting on May 4, 2018.

Hudak has distinguished himself as a true champion for the organization, taking every opportunity to spread the word about the Kids’ Chance mission. His enthusiasm is infectious, and he has inspired many Paradigm employees to become involved in state organizations.

“I cannot think of a more deserving recipient for this award. From the day Jim Hudak learned about Kids’ Chance, he has embraced the Kids’ Chance mission: wearing the pin, talking the talk and walking the walk.  He has been generous with his time, resources, expertise, and financial contributions,” said Suzanne Emmet, past president of Kids’ Chance of America and long-time Kids’ Chance supporter.

During Hudak’s tenure as CEO of Paradigm (July, 2011 to October, 2017) Paradigm donated more than $850,000 to Kids’ Chance organizations. Paradigm is the largest corporate donor to Kids’ Chance of America.

“Jim never misses an opportunity to champion the Kids’ Chance cause and he does so with a true passion that is evident and contagious,” said John Watts, Paradigm CEO. “Within Paradigm, Jim has made Kids’ Chance part of the DNA. He understands how the organization’s mission aligns with our company’s mission.”

In his inimitable style, Hudak has taken the time to meet every Kids’ Chance state organization president and to speak individually with scholarship recipients. He has offered internships to at least two scholarship recipients, in an effort to make their plans for healthcare careers into reality by interning at Paradigm.

The Distinguished Service Award is presented to an individual who supports the Kids’ Chance mission every day, helps connect members of the Kids’ Chance community to improve our collective impact, and demonstrates integrity.

At the 2017 Annual Meeting, Kids’ Chance presented founder Bob Clyatt with the first annual Distinguished Service Award. The award is now named in his honor and presented to a person who embodies the very ideals that inspired Clyatt to create Kids’ Chance.

Kids’ Chance of America could not be more proud to present this award to Jim Hudak.
