Kids’ Chance of America (KCOA) has welcomed TRISTAR as its newest national corporate partner, Chief Executive Officer Chris Letsos announced today.
As a national corporate partner, TRISTAR has committed $100,000 over four years to strengthen KCOA’s 50-state nonprofit network that provides scholarships and support to the children of workers who have been critically or fatally injured on the job.
“When a worker is killed or injured on the job, it impacts the entire family—especially the children,” Letsos said. “TRISTAR has demonstrated a genuine and enduring commitment to the Kids’ Chance mission, and we are honored to have them deepen their support by becoming a national corporate partner.”
TRISTAR’s formal partnership builds on years of meaningful support for Kids’ Chance. The company and its employees have volunteered, fundraised and championed the Kids’ Chance mission to help children affected by workplace tragedies pursue education and brighter futures. Tammy Boyd, TRISTAR’s regional business development and client services director, has been involved with Kids’ Chance of Florida for nearly a decade and will soon become president of its board of directors.
“My passion for Kids’ Chance comes from my own life experiences,” Boyd said. “I know what it feels like to face loss and uncertainty, and I see myself in the children we serve—their struggles, their resilience and their hope for a brighter tomorrow. For me, supporting Kids’Chance isn’t just leadership—it’s a calling.”
Tom Veale, TRISTAR’s president, said the company is deeply honored to stand behind the organization’s mission. “We are proud to partner with Kids’ Chance of America,” Veale said. “Helping kids prepare for and attend college can make a huge difference in their lives and in their families’ lives for generations to come.”
The Kids’ Chance of America Partnership Program requires a minimum commitment of $100,000 paid over four years. Through this support, Kids’ Chance of America provides training, technology, marketing and financial resources to the national Kids’ Chance network, helping every state organization reach and serve more students and families in need.
“TRISTAR’s partnership represents the very best of what our corporate alliances can achieve,” Letsos said. “They are not only providing vital funding but also integrating our mission into their company culture. That kind of shared purpose raises awareness, builds momentum and brings us closer to our goal of ensuring that every eligible child impacted by a workplace injury has the chance to thrive.”
