Annual Kids' Chance of Wisconsin Seminar Advances the Organization

Since 2014, Kids’ Chance of Wisconsin has been increasing awareness, promoting the brand, and raising funds through its Kids’ Chance of Wisconsin Seminar.

Held every year at Milwaukee’s Potawatomi Hotel & Casino, the organizers get started on planning next year’s event as soon as the current year’s event wraps up. According to Allison Hanson, Vice President of Sales-Central Region, ExamWorks, “Seminar offerings have become boring, so we want to put on a top-notch seminar that has topics that haven’t been done before. We are always looking at providing a high standard of fresh content.”

And it must be working, as this event is the one everyone in the Wisconsin workers’ comp community knows about!

The event itself runs for a full afternoon which includes three or four educational sessions, all of which provide CLE credits. Speakers run the gamut from plaintiff attorneys and the department of workforce development representatives to doctors and Bob Wilson. The evening festivities include a cocktail reception and $100 raffle prizes provided by generous sponsors (so many sponsors, in fact, they have to turn some away!).

With more than 250 attendees on average, this event definitely supports our goal of #MoreMoneyforMoreKids.
