Receiving the scholarship from Kids’ Chance gave me the rest of the money I needed to have my freshmen year of college paid for. Without it, I would have had to take out a loan for the remaining funds needed.

The Kids’ Chance scholarship has impacted me in the biggest way. It has given me a secure and worry free freshmen year at the university I love. I am pursing the degree I will work endlessly for in Social Work.

My plans for the future are quite clear. I plan on pursing my masters in Social Work then moving out of Texas and pursing my career in Social Work caring for and helping as many families as possible.
