Thank You for a Great Awareness Week 2016!

Kids’ Chance believes that we can make a significant difference in the lives of all children affected by a workplace injury by helping them pursue and achieve their educational goals. In 2015, scholarship applications increased significantly but we know there are more students in need of assistance. Kids’ Chance Awareness Week is designed to increase our visibility through special outreach events in each state that will spread the word about Kids’ Chance scholarship opportunities. The work we do at Kids’ Chance of America could not be done without all of our partners, sponsors, volunteers and supporters. We’ve set out to raise more money for more kids and that can only happen because of the community dedicated to our mission. Thank you all for everything you have done and will continue to do to support our cause.

Awareness Week is a special week out of the year where we all come together across the country as one Kids’ Chance force. Let’s keep the momentum going. To date in 2016, we’ve helped 5,593 students with over $16 million in scholarships. There are many, many more students out there that need our help, so let’s keep spreading the word and mission of Kids’ Chance!

“Kids’ Chance makes me and every other child a survivor, part of the same community,” says Alexis B., a Kids’ Chance of Virginia scholarship recipient. “We are strong and driven with minds that want to explore the world, and this scholarship allows us to do that. Kids’ Chance is only one of the many successes that are going to come into our lives. So thank you to every single person that has made this scholarship possible.”
